DATA CENTRE INFRASTRUCTURE
Plan the platform.
Connect every layer.
Infrastructure planning brings compute, network, storage and deployment requirements together. Start with the workload, then define the environment it needs.
Workload and capacity planning
Describe the applications, availability needs, expected growth and operational constraints. These requirements guide the platform specification and the division of responsibilities between the site operator, equipment suppliers and project team.
Compute, storage and interconnect
Evaluate server and GPU platforms alongside storage access, network bandwidth and fabric design. For high-performance workloads, InfiniBand and Ethernet choices should be considered together with the application and operational model.
Equipment and deployment coordination
Equipment selection, sourcing, compatibility checks and delivery sequencing belong to the same plan. Rack layout, power, cooling and connectivity requirements must be confirmed against the actual site before implementation.
Acceptance and handover
Agree the installation scope and acceptance criteria before deployment. Document the delivered configuration, access responsibilities, outstanding items and the support arrangements that apply to the engagement.
